SIAM® Assured Accreditation
SIAM Assured Organizational Accreditation
Scopism SIAM Assured (SSA) is a globally recognized organisation accreditation program that enables service providers to evidence their Service Integration and Management (SIAM) expertise to their customers and potential customers.
There are three accreditation options:
- Consultancy/Advisory Organizations
- Managed Service Providers
- Tooling Providers
Accreditation, once obtained, is valid for 3 years and each accreditation option requires the organization to pass an annual Scopism/Fox ITSM SIAM assessment. Once each assessment has been completed successfully the organization will be officially awarded (and will maintain) the SIAM Assured accreditation.
Organizations can choose to extend their scope to cover multiple accreditation options, if they wish.
Achieving SIAM Assured status will unlock many benefits, including:
- Increased customer/potential customer confidence
- Brand awareness in the SIAM market
- Differentiation in bid responses and marketing campaigns
- Objective review of SIAM capabilities
- Joint marketing and promotion via Scopism and the Scopism SIAM community
- Recognition and assurance of SIAM capabilities including any innovation such as GenAI.
Successful SIAM Assured organizations receive:
- The official SIAM capability assessment report and accreditation badge
- Premium profile on the Scopism website
- Promotion of their SIAM Assured status to the Scopism SIAM community and via Scopism social media
- The ability to request a working group or special interest group in the Scopism SIAM
community - Use of the Scopism BoK IP (with attribution).
Scopism as the trusted source of SIAM best practice and as an exclusive regional partner Fox ITSM recognize that there is no one ‘true’ way to adopt SIAM, and so we have built an accreditation that focuses on the outcomes that an organization has delivered for its clients.
Areas assessed vary depending on the accreditation option, it generally will include:
- A clear definition of SIAM and an associated service portfolio
- Maturity of services in scope
- Delivery of defined outcomes
- Active people management and development
- Any other supporting accreditations.
All organizations that successfully attain and maintain SIAM Assured accreditation are proudly listed on the Scopism website.
Scopism SIAM Assured Accredited organizations are key supporters of SIAM and the Scopism SIAM community. The organizations listed hold, or are working towards, SIAM Assured status, demonstrating their commitment to continual improvement of their SIAM capabilities.
YOUR ACCREDITATION OPTIONS
The SIAM Assured Service Provider Accreditation is aimed at Service Providers of any kind that require independent assurance that the management and delivery of their in-scope services and enablers (e.g. governance system, processes, people management etc..) meet defined outcomes and the stringent SIAM Assured global accreditation requirements.
Accreditation, once obtained, is valid for 3 years and organizations must pass the Scopism/Fox ITSM annual SIAM assessment to be officially awarded and maintain the SIAM Assured accreditation.
Most assessments will be delivered virtually, facilitated by an experienced and accredited Fox ITSM industry expert with support from the Scopism team. The assessed organization needs to provide access to key stakeholders, provide documentary evidence, be observed and take part in client interviews where appropriate.
An assessment is usually completed within 3-4 weeks, depending on stakeholder availability etc
The SIAM Assured Consultancy & Advisory Accreditation is aimed at SIAM Consulting and Advisory Service Providers that require independent assurance that the management and delivery of their in-scope SIAM based services and products meet defined outcomes and the stringent SIAM Assured global accreditation requirements.
Accreditation, once obtained, is valid for 3 years and organizations must pass the Scopism/Fox ITSM annual SIAM assessment to be officially awarded and maintain the SIAM Assured accreditation.
Most assessments will be delivered virtually, facilitated by an experienced and accredited Fox ITSM industry expert with support from the Scopism team. The assessed organization needs to provide access to key stakeholders, provide documentary evidence, be observed and take part in client interviews where appropriate.
An assessment is usually completed within 2-3 weeks, depending on stakeholder availability etc.
The SIAM Assured Tooling Provider Accreditation is aimed at Service Providers that provide SIAM enabling Tools & Technology. These providers require independent assurance that the functional and non functional aspects of their specific technology support and enable a SIAM based operating model and ecosystem. The assessment will take into account the nature of the technology and the stated defined outcomes and also be subjected to the stringent SIAM Assured global accreditation requirements.
Accreditation, once obtained, is valid for 3 years and organizations must pass the Scopism/Fox ITSM annual SIAM assessment to be officially awarded and maintain the SIAM Assured accreditation.
