Service Integration and Management (SIAM) skills and knowledge are becoming a must have requirement as more and more companies choose to outsource their one or more of their IT services to different IT service suppliers to optimize their company processes, services and products.  SIAM provides governance, integration and end to end coordination to ensure the customer organisation gets maximum value from its service providers.

SIAM is an established approach to managing multiple suppliers of information technology services and integrating them to provide a single business-facing IT organisation/service provider. It aims at seamlessly integrating interdependent services from various internal and external service providers into end to end services in order to meet business requirements.

When services are provided by numerous teams or suppliers, ensuring seamless service delivery to the business or organization being served presents a challenge. To sustain the benefits, strong operational and commercial governance are essential.

The main goal of Service Integration and Management (SIAM) is to coordinate internal and external suppliers and their services in a cost-effective way to achieve the end-to-end service levels needed to support the goals of the business units and functions.

SIAM is ideal for internal or external service providers that use a number of functional units to provide services.  The SIAM Foundation Course provides delegates with an understanding of Service Integration and Management (SIAM) in accordance with international standards for SIAM, organisational structures for good governance and good management, roles and responsibilities of the SIAM organisation and the essential SIAM processes. Delegates will learn about the integrated process approach of SIAM, the SIAM roadmap for implementation and the governance, management and operating model.
